My yoga for improved sleep workshops provide you with yoga tools to improve not only your sleep but also your rest, energy levels, mood, well-being and more. You will learn various steps to work with your physical body, your energy, your mind, your emotions and your natural equilibrium. The movements are simple so you don’t need any experience of yoga to benefit from this approach and restore your natural sleep patterns.

A 60 minute workshop that will guide you through a simple evening yoga sequence, meditation and restorative yoga and help you explore how your dosha (ayurvedic constitution) can provide the root of your sleep problems.

I will be in touch when I have reviewed your enquiry. I will confirm whether there is space on your chosen workshop and answer any questions you have raised. When I have received your booking, you will receive a welcome email containing all the information you will need in advance of your chosen start date.

Many people I have worked with in the yoga for improved sleep workshops report that they were never great sleepers.
Others state that their problems began or worsened with menopause.
Maybe your sleep is normally fine but you would like some tips for those stressful times in your live when sleep gremlins strike.
Maybe you are not a natural “lark” and need some tips to sleep well before occasional early starts.
Maybe your sleep has worsened since the lockdowns, you are kind of adjusting, but you also resent it.

The one hour workshops include a pre-workshop quiz which will take a few minutes to complete and consider. The practices (especially the evening sequence) should be practised regularly for best results taking around 15 minutes.

You will pay £17.00.

You will receive a welcome email confirming your booking and containing your sleep type personality (based on your ayurvedic doshic type) for completion before your session which will help establish specific sleep issues.

Many people find the short workshops give them enough yoga sleep techniques to improve their sleep. Others need to dig a little deeper and learn about further techniques to give them a wider range of tools and a more individualised approach. A few weeks after your workshop, I will contact you by email to track how the practices are working for you and if you think you need to take a deeper dive to further improve your sleep, rest and relaxation.

Classes and workshops are approximately 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes long as specified under booking.
Classes and workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Classes and workshops must be paid for in full and in advance of the course.
On or after the start date, no refund can be given for your cancellation or non-attendance.
Class bookings are valid for the duration of the course for which they were registered.
There is no transferral of classes from term to term, course to course or person to person.
Classes may be cancelled due to circumstances out of your instructor’s control eg extreme weather conditions, sickness, but refunds will not be given.
All sessions in a series of private sessions must be concluded within 6 months of the first session.
All sessions included in a class pass must be concluded within 8 weeks of the first session.

The Process
HOW BOOKING WORKS
Choose a Workshop
View the workshop schedule and select your desired workshop and start date.

Book & Pay
You'll then complete the form and pay for your workshop or course.

Pre-workshop Prep
We’ll go through pre-workshop info and checks in preparation for your workshop or course.

We will work together live online in a small group in the early evening. After you have booked your space, you will receive a quiz to help establish your ayurvedic dosha (this will give you your sleep-type personality and we will emphasise yoga postures appropriate to your findings during the short workshop). We will also experience an evening yoga routine to help remove the stresses of the day and explore how meditation and restorative postures can also help improve your sleep. A worksheet will be provided following the workshop detailing the practices so you can continue the practices at home. The session will be recorded and the recording will remain available for one month following your workshop as an additional resource. If you can’t make the live session, the recording will also be provided. You will be given the opportunity to assess how your workshop has helped your sleep problems and if you wish to dig deeper in a longer online group workshop or one to one session with me.

You will learn simple yoga postures and practices for morning, evening and resting in-between as well as meditative practices to help you calm your “monkey mind” which is a recurring theme for those who have problems falling asleep and if waking in the middle of the night is what troubles you, you will be offered yoga practices to help with this too!
